Hello! My name is Alexandra, or Allie for short. I’m a full-time occupational therapist with a passion for all things food. To introduce myself briefly, I’m a latte lover, dog mom, grocery store fanatic, and forever in search of the best patio.

I started as an Instagram-based food photography blog in November 2017, but had been posting well before that on my personal account. I decided it was time to take a small step into creating my own brand, then jumped right into blogging and writing (still learning the web design piece!).

I have a focus on my the city I grew up in: Kansas City. While I’m originally from the Washington area, I grew up between Overland Park and Olathe. I currently reside in the Prairie Village area and am loving every minute of it! Downtown KC is the over-arching focus, especially now that I’m a student. I also made the decision to include Lawrence, as myself and my fiancé are KU graduates (#rockchalk)!

While I love focusing on local businesses in the area, I love learning more about local companies as a whole. I’m a strong supporter of local businesses and love learning what other products and treats others are providing for their communities. I’m also passionate about travel, and love exploring local businesses on all my adventures.
