Fall Drinks in Kansas City that aren’t a PSL
Eve’s Fallen Apple
The Wild Way — Kansas City Area

Apple and coffee may not immediately come to mind as a pair, but Christine has outdone herself yet again with this fall drink. Crafted with Louisburg Cider, nitro cold brew, and cream and topped with a coconut sugar caramel dipped apple and a dusting of cinnamon, this drink is perfect for when you’re feeling fall, but Kansas City weather feels otherwise. As she says, it’s pairs perfectly with those 90º September (or October) days! Find this drink (and the Wild Way trailer) at the Overland Park Farmers Market, The Wild Warehouse, and other locations across the Kansas City Metro.

S’mores Latte
Pilgrim Coffee Company — Overland Park, Kansas

Cozy and campfire are two words that come to mind when I think of fall. This latte brings those to life, made with marshmallow and maple syrups, you can bring the campfire s’mores on the go. Add a chocolate and graham cracker rim, and your drink is complete. Fun fact: Pilgrim makes all their syrups in house.

Sweet Potato Latte
Monarch Coffee — Kansas City, Missouri

Made with sweet potato, clove, and brown sugar, this latte is basically like drinking a sweet potato casserole (but better). It may sound unappealing, but it’s fall perfection. Not too sweet, but the toasted marshmallow it’s topped with adds a wonderful amount (plus, who doesn’t love a good toasted marshmallow). This one is available hot or chilled, as well as on-the-go.

The Fall Fowler
Black Dog Coffeehouse — Lenexa, Kansas

With notes of coconut and cinnamon, this latte definitely doesn’t bring the ‘fall vibe’ initially. However, with homemade coconut creme, there’s a subtle sweetness and warmness fill your heart (and the rest of you). This one is also available hot or iced, so it’s perfect for the variety of KC fall weather.
Other drinks to try: Maca Caramelo
Salty Bourbon
Third Space Coffee — Bonner Springs, Kansas

This latte is a mix of salted caramel and apple bourbon syrups, which are both house made. It sounds like a lot of flavors, but it’s a perfect blend of sweet and salty. It’s great iced or hot, and for special occasions they go all out with an apple crumble rim.
Other drinks to try: Apple of my Chai
Coco-Caramel Mocha
The Roasterie Cafe — Kansas City Area

This mocha was absolute heaven. The caramel flavor was amazing and it wasn’t too rich. The toasted coconut on top was a great touch. It was the perfect drink for hanging out under the plane!
